I Have experienced a few winters like that. I was living in SW Colorado at 8000 ft in elevation and one year we got 145" / 368.3 cm. :o

Had to clear the snow off the roof a couple times. It got so deep the tractors they used to clear the roads struggled because the berms on the side of the road were so high there wasn't anywhere to put the new stuff.

This pic is me clearing the snow off the neighbors house.

This one is the same day measuring the snow on neighbors shed. (about 26" / 66.04 cm) The snow is mid thigh where i'm standing (I'm 5'8" / 172.72 cm)

WoW we are in the same boat, sure looks nice, as long as you don't have to put up with it for over 4 months.

https://www.google.ca/maps/place/Le+Mas ... 9092?hl=en

Le Massif, Quebec
I was skiing, it was very cold -24C plus a big wind, which made the temperature felt like at the North Pole. the snow persists until mid-May.
A wonderful place and beautiful views, I recommend
